DEME’s installation vessel ‘Innovation’ will set sail to the Belgian North Sea with the first load of 58 turbine foundations and transition pieces for installation at the SeaMade offshore wind farm. Currently the first monopiles and transition pieces are being loaded at SIF’s Maasvlakte terminal in Rotterdam.
A consortium including DEME and Eiffage Métal has been awarded a major EPCI contract for 80 foundations at the Saint-Nazaire offshore wind farm in France. The scope includes the design, fabrication and installation of the steel foundations. The consortium contract has a total value of more than EUR 500 million.
DEME successfully completed the installation of 85 km of subsea export cable for Elia’s Modular Offshore Grid, deploying the state-of-the-art cable installation vessel ‘Living Stone’. The cable connects Elia’s Offshore Switch Yard to the shore station Stevin at Zeebrugge, as well as the Rentel wind farm Offshore Substation.

DEME’s ambitious multi-year fleet investment programme continues with the arrival of the new generation trailing suction hopper dredger ‘Bonny River’. The vessel is currently being mobilised in Flushing, the Netherlands, for its first assignment.
DEME Offshore has been awarded a major contract for the transport and installation of 165 foundations at Ørsted’s Hornsea Two offshore wind farm in the UK. Additionally, DEME Offshore secured the contract for the transport and installation of the turbines at the wind farm.
DEME Offshore has signed an agreement with Equinor, a world leading pioneer in floating wind power, to undertake a study examining potential floating concrete substructures for the planned Hywind Tampen wind farm project in the North Sea off Norway's coast. With DEME Offhore’s market expertise and vast track record in the offshore renewables industry, the company aims to be at the forefront of developments relating to floating offshore wind technology. The agreement was signed early December 2018 with a five-month duration, and the study is a part of the engineering works before the final investment decision.

DEME has been awarded a major contract to carry out the deepening of the Elbe fairway in Germany. This prestigious contract confirms DEME’s technological expertise in complex dredging and marine engineering projects and its strong position in the German market, where it has had a presence for more than 50 years. The contract has an approximate value of EUR 238 million (VAT included).
DEME Offshore, formerly GeoSea, has announced the selection of Tier One suppliers for its Moray East offshore windfarm foundation contract, many of which are based in the UK.
